The person / The practice

Inside the studio.

Nati Meir

My work brings printed history into dialogue with contemporary experience. Rescued pages from the Encyclopaedia Hebraica become the ground for ink, acrylic and hand-printing. I collect local clay soil, form it into tiles and engrave images that I print by hand. Dip-pen and brush drawing, and dashed lines reminiscent of stitching, connect material, memory and identity.

Material & process.

Each surface carries a history. I work with it, adding colour, impressions and marks without hiding what came before. Small-format linocut editions are individually finished with acrylic: one edition, many distinct impressions.

Let’s make something happen.
